Exploring College and Careers Class
(CINCINNATI) -- South Dearborn Middle School offers a course for eighth graders to explore their passions and possible future careers.
Students interested in law and safety careers recently took a field trip to Hamilton County, Ohio.
The class visited the Hamilton County Coroner and Crime Laboratory.
Students learned about the various roles and responsibilities of each person in the laboratory.
"The students asked many great questions and learned fascinating facts about forensics and DNA," field trip organizers said.
The students also viewed the ballistics firing range and the labs for trace evidence, toxicology, drugs, and forensic biology.
