South Decatur student allegedly wrote threats

School initiated investigation

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) -- A student at South Decatur Jr/Sr High School allegedly wrote harmful intentions in a notebook.

The school took immediate action and filed a report with local law enforcement.

"At this time the Decatur County Sheriff's Department is conducting the investigation with full support from Decatur County Community Schools," administrators said.

School officials added that safety and security is their top priority.

"As this is an ongoing investigation, there will be no further comment at this time," school officials added.
