(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – South Decatur track hosted senior night on Tuesday against Crothersville.
There were 12 seniors who were honored including Owen Arreola, Deacon Cruser, Damon Gearhart, Donovan Hale, Campbell Johannigman, Conner Newby, McKinley Shook, Logan Wilkinson, Zoe Meer, Clair Schoettmer, Brayley Sundal, and Mary Schwering.
During the meet, McKinley Shook lined up for the 110 meter high hurdles competition.
Shook had a record performance and broke the school record with a time of 14.94.
The previous record was set by Trent Nobbe in 2019.
On the girls side of the competition, junior Madisyn Danforth marked a 16’10 long jump to tie the school record set by Donna Cooper in 1982.
Madisyn advanced to Regional competition in the long jump last year. On senior night, Madisyn also won the 200-meter dash and long jump, and she was part of the winning 4x100 relay.
