South Decatur wins inaugural MHC cheer competition

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Despite a heartbreaking loss to Jac-Cen-Del in the sectional semifinals the previous night, South Decatur athletics was able to bounce back the next morning.

The first-ever Mid-Hoosier Conference competition took place Saturday morning at North Decatur. 

Some of the teams competing included the South, North and Waldron. There were additional performances by elementary students.  

South Decatur made history by being able to be named the first ever MHC cheer champions! 

Only losing senior Bryiona Lozier and foreign exchange student Fenna Juilfs, there is a good chance this will not be their last one.
