South Ripley teacher brings rap to classroom

(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – A South Ripley sixth grade teacher is using rap to help students learn math. 

David Brawner was recently talking to the students about the “order of operations” and found a creative way to educate them. 

The unique lesson was a hit with the kids!

"It helps because he sings it and put motions to it so it's in my mind while I work on my problem," said sixth grader Callie Kirk.

Mr. Brawner makes this an annual tradition of putting a unique spin on a common math lesson.
