Special Olympics firetruck pull on Saturday

All proceeds benefit Special Olympics

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – The Special Olympics of Ripley, Ohio and Dearborn will host the annual fire truck pull in downtown Lawrenceburg Saturday.

Teams of 10 people will compete to pull a fully loaded fire truck weighing 50,000 pounds.

It’s the ultimate tug of war challenge and a great team building event. This event will also feature family attractions and fire safety displays/demonstrations.

Each team raises a minimum of $750 in pledges to see who can pull the fire truck 50 feet in the shortest amount of time.

The event starts at 11 a.m. with the pull taking place around 2 p.m. at Lawrenceburg’s Civic Park.
