Five students will compete
(GREENSBUG, Ind.) – Five archers from St. Mary's School in Greensburg will be competing at the Indiana National Archery in the Schools Program State Tournament on March 9 in Indianapolis.
The students are fifth-graders Henry and Jack Dwenger, sixth-grader Lilli Welsh, and eighth graders Jack Noah and Josie Wenning.
The students were invited to the state tournament based on their scores from state qualifying bullseye and 3D tournaments conducted in January.
All five students representing St. Mary's have also earned the distinction of Academic Archer for this competition season.
The St. Mary's Archery Team consists of 19 students from the fifth through eighth grades and is coached by David Fuel, Nick Wenning, Zach Welsh and Jason Dwenger.
