(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) -- A seminar will be held to discuss the warning signs and how to help someone who could be considering suicide.
The training session will focus primarily on military veterans and their families. It is called QPR Gatekeeper Training, and will teach someone how to ask questions, persuade and refer someone to help.
It will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 25 at the Brookville American Legion.
There will be a presenter from One Community One Family as well as the Cincinnati VA.
It is hosted by United Way of Franklin and Ripley County, along with One Community One Family and the Indiana Department of Health.
