Incident happened on November 9
(NORTH VERNON, Ind.) – Three teenagers are facing charges after a drive-by shooting earlier this month in Jennings County.
Deputies say that several rounds were fired and struck a car, a home and an outbuilding in the Campbell Township area on November 9.
Investigators conducted a traffic stop and arrested 18-year-old Bradley Pike, of Crothersville, and 18-year-old Waylon Baker of Columbus.
“Both firearms believed to have been used in the shooting were recovered during the traffic stop,” said Jennings County Detective Garrett Hoppock.
Detectives identified a third suspect which they say was 18-year-old Caden Kinser of Seymour. He was arrested on November 14.
Kinser, Baker, and Pike all face preliminary charges of Criminal Recklessness – Shooting a Firearm into an Inhabited Dwelling.
“The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office has worked tirelessly on this case in collaboration with the North Vernon Police Department, forensic experts, and local High Tech Crime Units. We remain dedicated to holding individuals accountable for violent crimes and ensuring the safety of our community,” the sheriff’s department said
