(WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.) -- We should have forced her to sign a non-compete agreement.

After all the work we've put in to train reporter Ellie Acra, here she goes running toward the brighter lights of fame and fortune while leaving us in the dust.

We hope Ellie remembers her Greensburg roots while chasing stardom at Purdue University.

Just kidding! The Greeensburg native was the Purdue student selected to be interviewed as class resumes in West Lafayette this morning.

The former Miss Decatur County is a reporter for The 812 and is beginning her senior year in college.
