Three communities receive state home repair grant

State awarded $1.6M to four different communities

(VEVAY, Ind.) – Three local communities are recipients of the Owner Occupied Rehabilitation grant from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.


The recipients are Switzerland County, the City of Lawrenceburg and the City of Rushville. 


The funds will be provided to eligible homeowners of low-to-moderate income to make needed repairs on their homes.


Eligible repairs include roof repair or replacement, ADA accessibility, heating and cooling replacement, lighting and electrical upgrades, and water heater replacement.


Switzerland County is receiving $500K while Lawrenceburg and Rushville are earch getting $350K.
