Three swimmers qualify for IHSAA State Finals

OA, EC and Milan swimmers advance

(INDIANAPOLIS) – Three local high school swimmers earned a trip to the IHSAA State Finals over the weekend. 

Milan senior Dylan Thomas qualified for his second consecutive state appearance, this time competing in the 100 yard backstroke. 

East Central will also be represented at state as Henry Strotman qualified for the 50 freestyle. 

Oldenburg Academy freshman Nash King also qualified for state. He will compete in the 500 Freestyle swim. 

The state finals will take place at the Indiana University Natatorium in Indianapolis beginning on Friday, February 23.
