In honor of Dick Kunz who had long cancer battle
(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Farmers are encouraged to participate in a unique fundraiser between Greensburg and Napoleon this weekend.
The fourth annual Memorial Tractor Drive honors Greensburg native Dick Kunz, who lost his battle with cancer in 2021.
Kunz was a tractor mechanic at Briggs Equipment for 25 years before he and his wife opened Kunz Farm Repair. He was a collector of Massey Harris and Allis Chalmers tractors and was involved with Greensburg Power of the Past.
The proceeds from the ride will all be given to Franciscan Health Cancer Center Indianapolis.
“All the money raised will go directly to the patients to help with transportation, food and other needs while taking treatments,” Mike Kunz said.
It is a free will donation to attend and the ride will start at 1 p.m. from Kunz Farm Repair which is located at 6942 E. County Road 700 South in Greensburg.
