(OSGOOD, Ind.) -- A truck convoy that rolled through Ripley County earlier this month generated $53,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.

Convoy organizer Alfred Sellers and his wife, Lisa, donated the funds to the organization on Tuesday.

The Southern Indiana Truck Convoy is an annual event where local truck drivers participate in a convoy that begins at the Ripley County Fairgrounds. The convoy was attended by many local trucking companies on August 5. There was one driver who traveled 2,800 miles just to be part of the convoy. Baylor Trucking donated the most money to Make-A-Wish and led the convoy.
