Two Greensburg businesses helped reduce waste with Shred Event

More than 5,000 pounds of paper shredded

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Two Greensburg businesses partnered to host the inaugural Shred Event and Cookout on Friday. 

It was a partnership between Messer, Rust & Burkert Advisors and Langen Meats. 

Langen Meats provided hotdogs and hamburgers while the private wealth advisory practice organized a shred truck. 

The community showed up to the event and more than 5,000 pounds of paper was shredded. 

“Those who attended commented on how they thought this was a great idea/event and would like for us to host it twice or more a year! We do plan to make it an annual event and hope even more will join us in the years to come,” said Jenna Green, who serves as the business development specialist for Messer, Rust & Burkert Advisors.

Langen Meats is located at 115 S. East Street in Greensburg.
