(INDIANAPOLIS) -- Pictures taken by two local photographers were selected from hundreds of entries at the Indiana State Fair on Thursday.
Carson Hughes and Elli Lange were two of only 10 photographers who won the Indiana Agriculture Photo Contest. Officials said there were 600 submissions.
Hughes is a Jac-Cen-Del senior who captured the amazing closeup of a deer which is called "Wild Connections."
Lange is from Rising Sun and photographed one of those beautiful sunsets right here in Southeast Indiana.
This artwork is named "A Days Reflection" and here is the photo:
The photos taken by Hughes and Lange will be displayed in the Indiana Lieutenant Governor's office for the next year.
“The 10 photos selected as winners truly capture the Hoosier spirit and farming tradition to the highest degree. I want to thank and congratulate all participants for helping us showcase Indiana agriculture," said Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch.
