(LIBERTY, Ind.) -- Union County authorities say an attempted traffic stop led to a police chase that ended in Hamilton, Ohio on Thursday.

A Liberty police officer was notified of a stolen pickup truck out from Central Indiana that was traveling through the area.

Police say they tried to stop the vehicle which was driven by 37-year-old Mary Lee Murray on U.S. 27 South.

Murray allegedly fled at a high rate of speed and the pursuit continued into Ohio.

Authorities say the pursuit ended in Hamilton when Murray crashed into two vehicles and then struck a Butler County Sheriff's vehicle.

"Multiple Deputies were injured as a result of the incident and were either treated at the scene or the hospital," Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones said.

Murray also transported to the hospital for injuries.

She was charged with Felonious Assault, Failure to comply with order or signal of police officer, and Resisting Arrest.
