Versailles search warrant leads to meth bust, 4 arrests

Part of ongoing drug investigation

(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – Four people are facing drug-related charges after a search warrant in Versailles on Monday. 


Officers raided a residence on South High Street as part of an ongoing drug investigation. 


The warrant was conducted by Versailles Police Marshal Joe Mann, who had assistance from the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office and Osgood Police. 


Police say they seized more than 65 grams of methamphetamine, along with paraphernalia and marijuana. 


There were four people arrested on the following charges:


29-year-old Leia Shianne Woody of Versailles

  1. Dealing in Meth, Level 2 Felony

  2. Maintaining a common nuisance, Level 6 Felony

  3. Possession of Marijuana, Class A Misdemeanor 


35-year-old Troy Edward Dunagan Jr. of Lawrenceburg 

  1. Possession of Meth, Level 5 Felony

  2. Visiting a common nuisance, Class A Misdemeanor 

  3. Possession of paraphernalia, Class C Misdemeanor 


22-year-old Dakoda Michael Green of Sunman

  1. Possession of Meth, Level 6 Felony

  2. Visiting a common nuisance, Class A Misdemeanor 

  3. Possession of marijuana, Class A Misdemeanor 


49-year-old James Michael Hensley of Osgood

  1. Possession of Meth, Level 6 Felony

  2. Visiting a common nuisance, Class A Misdemeanor 

  3. Possession of marijuana, Class A Misdemeanor
