(VERSAILLES, Ind.) -- A hit-and-run crash is among several incidents that Versailles Fire & Rescue have responded to this weekend.
Around 1 a.m. Sunday, a vehicle traveling on U.S. 50 struck a guardrail, and the impact pulled the guardrail into the roadway.
That vehicle drove away, however, another car later struck the portion of guardrail that was on the road.
Fortunately, there were no injuries.
Firefighters had to cut a large portion of a guard rail to fully reopen U.S. 50.
It is not known if police have identified the driver of the first car.
Versailles firefighters have responded to 10 calls for service as of Sunday morning.
