Walk to End Alzheimer's in Batesville Saturday

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) -- The 2023 Walk to End Alzheimer's in Batesville is set for Saturday, Sept. 9.

Registration for the event will begin at 9 a.m. at Liberty Park. The opening ceremony will be held at 9:45 a.m. before attendees will walk through downtown Batesville.

"There is no registration fee. Of course, it is our largest fundraiser, so we encourage you to help raise donations and awareness and will give you the tools to do so," said organizer Amy Kleeman.

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® is the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care, support and research.

This event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease.
