(WAUKEGAN, IL.) -- A recent East Central graduate had a "SportsCenter" worthy goal during the Copa Royados tournament in Chicago this weekend.

JT Roden was playing for Cincinnati United CUP Elite which won the entire tournament by defeating clubs from across the country.

His team will also compete in the US Youth Soccer National Championship later this month.

Roden will continue his soccer career at NKU this fall. He holds East Central's all-time records for assists as well most points recorded.

He is the son of Justin and Jennifer Roden. His mother was also a standout soccer player at Mount St. Joseph University.
