Police say they found more than 30 grams
(NORTH VERNON, Ind.) -- A woman has been arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop, the Jennings County Sheriff's Office said.
A deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on North State Street on Tuesday night.
The officer said he became suspicious of illegal activity and requested the department's K-9.
The dog allegedly gave a positive indication which led to a search of the car.
Police say they found close to 36 grams of Methamphetamine.
50-year-old Betty Johnson of North Vernon was charged with meth possession and booked into the Jennings County Jail.
