Established through the Ripley County Community Foundation
(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Wood-Mizer is establishing a fund to support the sustainability and quality of life in Ripley County.
The Ripley County Community Foundation announced the establishment of the Wood-Mizer Charitable Giving Fund on Tuesday.
The fund will allow the community foundation to respond to the evolving needs of the community and capitalize on new opportunities.
“We are incredibly grateful for Wood-Mizer’s confidence in our mission and their commitment to Ripley County,” said Amy Streator, Executive Director of the Ripley County Community Foundation. “This investment is a powerful example of how corporate philanthropy can make a significant difference in small communities. By working together, we can create a vibrant and thriving Ripley County for all.”
Corporate investment plays a vital role in the success of small communities. Businesses like Wood-Mizer not only provide jobs and economic stimulus, but their charitable contributions also empower local organizations like the Ripley County Community Foundation to address critical needs, support essential services, and foster a sense of community pride.
“As a company that is deeply rooted in Batesville, we recognize the importance of supporting the people and initiatives that make our community thrive. Batesville is where we run our factory, partner with other businesses, and see many of our employees live, volunteer, send their kids to school, and enjoy a great quality of life. It’s a wonderful community to call home,” said Wood-Mizer CEO John Smith.
