Camp honors EC's Brett Fox and Lawrenceburg's Brady Gabbard
(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) -- Area youth football players are invited to a football camp where two Cincinnati Bengals players will visit Saturday.
The football camp was organized to honor two local football players who passed away in high school.
Brady Gabbard was a Lawrenceburg football player who passed away after a short battle with cancer in 2021.
Brett Fox was a standout East Central linebacker who passed away in a car crash in 2019.
The two families have come together to host the K-6th grade football camp this weekend.
Bengals punter Drue Chrisman and Bengals linebacker Landon Johnson will be at the camp to conduct some drills and training.
Football players from all local schools are welcome to attend. The cost is $28 which represents Brady Gabbard's #28 football number, along with Fox who wore #8.
The camp is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Lawrenceburg CAP Fields. Lunch, water and a t-shirt will be provided.
