(AURORA, Ind.) -- The King and Queen of the Aurora Farmers Fair was crowned last night.
Oldenburg Academy's Thaddeus Eaglin was named King and Switzerland County's Ava Cole was crowned Queen.
"It’s really important to me that was able to represent my school here and especially be able to win for them," Ava told The 812. "We haven’t had a winner at the farmers fair since 2011 so that was really cool. I’m really grateful for the opportunity I was given by my teachers and the support the school provided for the competition."
Ava has assisted The 812 with our Friday night high school football photographs.
South Dearborn's Adam Kunkel and Taci Hughes were finished as runner-up for King and Queen.
