Batesville senior commits to USF for football

Weiler announced commitment Monday night

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) -- Batesville senior Bobby Weiler has committed to the University of St. Francis to continue his football career.

Weiler made the announcement on his Instagram page Monday night.

"I would also like to give a huge thanks to my family for always being there and supporting me every step of the way," Weiler said. "Thank you to the coaches and teammates at Batesville High School for pushing me the past four years to be the best player I could be."

Weiler played defensive end and fullback for the Bulldogs.

St. Francis is located in Fort Wayne and former Lawrenceburg standout Garrett Yoon is a quarterback on the team.
