Bengals punter Drue Chrisman among camp instructors
(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) -- A youth football camp was held in honor of two players from rival schools on Saturday.
The inaugural camp was held in memory of Lawrenceburg player Brady Gabbard and East Central player Brett Fox.
Gabbard passed away after a short battle with cancer in 2021. Fox died in a car crash in 2019.
Several high school players served as instructors during the camp including Lawrenceburg's Brayden Combs and East Central's Josh Ringer.
Bengals punter Drue Chrisman and former Bengal linebacker Landon Johnson also helped teach the kids on-field skills while stressing the importance of having good character and sportsmanship.
There were 85 children who participated in the camp. All the proceeds went to the Brady James Gabbard Memorial Foundation.
