(KNIGHTSTOWN, Ind.) -- Lawrenceburg boy's basketball had a chance to play at one of the most famous and iconic gyms in the world on Saturday.
The Tigers JV and varsity teams competed against Greenfield-Central at the historic Hoosier Gym in Knightstown.
The gym was built in the 1930's and was made famous in the movie "Hoosiers".
Lawrenceburg varsity lost 62-47 but say they were honored to receive the rare opportunity to play there. The
"Great experience for our program playing at the historic Hoosier Gym tonight against a tough Greenfield Central team. We didn’t come out on the victorious end but I’m proud of our guys and the way they represented Lawrenceburg tonight," varsity coach Brad Cutter said.
